Clay day
today I was with my little cousins and we were using the squishy but firm Palmer clay. I was helping them make things for there doll house. I don't usually make things with  clay but I played with play dough when I was little and had made a couple things with it but never got in to it until now. I had made doll plates, cups and some food. we had gotten the clay out a few days ago and had been messing around with it since. I cant believe I never try this more, well I guess I should defiantly keep an open mind when it comes to my projects

Peacock Pleasure

Who doesn't love peacock's? The very symbol of peacock's is immortality and renewal. Anyway, today is art's and craft's day ( my most favorite day) and I just finished this peacock sculpture made from paper mache and a bunch of different feather's.(I can't believe peacock feathers are so  expensive!) I started this a long time ago and it started to collect dust so I thought it would be good to finish this, just to prove that I CAN finish a project. I hope  you are inspired to be creative and to try new things!
                                                                     Yours truly,

   Lip stick love
I love lip stick. I can always count on it to add some pop to my make up. I just bought a dark red lip stick I'm saving for fall and winter. I think lip stick can look good on any one and can be for every season of the year. I recommend light and softer colors in the spring, bright colors in the summer and darker colors in the fall and winter. I use lip stick to coordinate my outfits and make up. where is the best place to get lip stick? well I always get lip stick from drug stores to get it cheep, but personally for better quality I like Sufora. I think I will always be using lip stick of all colors the rest of my life.

The sharpie, the innocent permanent marker that somehow ends up on just about everything, what is it doing here? If you have read the older posts you would have known that today is makeup/nail day ( if you did, pat yourself on the back) Here is today's blog post topic-

Don't have nail polish that has a super thin brush? What about a sharpie? Yeah, these markers just are not used to color on the walls anymore, they are used to freshen up nails, too!

Little Mermaid gets a make over!

Little Mermaid gets a make over!
Hi this is Lena I started this sketch in the middle of church and kept adding. I was inspired by one of my favorite Disney movies the Little Mermaid. I also was inspired by Mattel's ever after high dolls. I sticked with the red hair of the little mermaid but added a bit of black. the themes I used are pearls and ruffles. The shape of the dress was something I had seen in a sketch, the rest was on my . Always try                to be creative and make things your own
                                                                                                                 Sincerely,

Little boy blue

                                         LITTLE BOY BLUE

Hi, this is Clara! I have just found my newest craft..... Crocheting!!!
What better way to learn to crochet than to make my soon-to-be brother a blanket and a matching hat.

This is the blanket - I made it with a pattern from www.mooglyblog.com
My mom picked out the color's, they remind me of different levels of the sea.
It took me about 2 months to make it, on account of loosing my crochet hook and needing more yarn.

This is the hat - I looked at a LOT of  hat patterns and finally decide on a pattern from www.bevscountrycottage.com I improvised on the ears, all of the patterns for those looked too hard. This hat only took me 1 hour to make!  Watch out family, you might just get a hat for Christmas!
                                                                  Yours truly,
                                                                                     Clara
